Green Jade Barrel Pendant

Grade A green jade barrel pendant with good lustre and translucency. It has beautiful patches of vibrant green hue against a lighter green base. The quality of the jadeite barrel is great with fine jade grains and rich water content, hence it appears shiny and glossy. Clarity is good with no cracks or any significant inclusion to note. This jadeite barrel is specially carved and polished with no hole drilled through. Jade barrels with big holes drilled through, are usually of lower quality used to make bracelets. For extra security purpose, a hole is drilled 1/4 through the barrel with a gold knot within it, so that the jadeite will be fully secured in its gold setting. Designed in 18K white gold and diamonds.

The photographs are taken both indoor and outdoor under natural daylight.

The green jade barrel is also known as “路路通” in Chinese, which symbolises every path one takes will be smooth without obstacles.
